The track is situated between the villages of Hinxworth and Ashwell. It is easily approached from the A1 by following the signs to Hinxworth and then to Ashwell. The track will come into view on your left. The nearest postcode for GPS is SG7 5HU, which should lead you to a point approximately 30m back towards Hinxworth from the site entrance.

Baldock Services is a short drive away, which has a Days Inn motel and various food outlets (e.g. McDonalds, Starbucks, M&S, etc.). There is a large Tesco at Baldock and Sainsburys is 10 minutes north on the A1 near Biggleswade.

The track is 100% astroturf with table tops, various jumps and a small hill.

About the club

Stotfold Model Car Club started around 1983 as a 1/8th and 1/10th Rally Cross club.
In 1985 it moved to its current location racing on grass, and held a few 1/8th Nationals.
The members of the club started to develop and upgrade the club to a high standard, changing the track, and maintaining the venue grounds. The club was involved in the Chiltern challenge and then the Mid South regional series.
1997 saw a change to Astroturf and a much larger permanent track.
In 2004 there were some big changes to the track layout which included building jumps and humps. These have been added to over the years.
We held a BRCA End of Season event in 2005 and 2006, followed by our first BRCA National event in 2007.
Our membership has increased and we are now a prestigious club known nationally, a place where people have become our friends and a place where they want to race.
The club meets every Sunday afternoon, and through the summer months on Wednesday evenings, weather permitting.
We have facilities for camping and caravans throughout the day and overnight on National Events.
Stotfold Model Car Club is a friendly club where people come to meet other like-minded people and enjoy a good afternoon racing.
